Miss B

Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary

From the time Dayle was three music was inspiring her to dance. She studied Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop and Contemporary throughout her training, focusing particularly on Ballet and Jazz. Dayle has passed the RAD Advanced 2 exam, the AJDA Solo Seal and the IDTA Intermediate 3 Jazz. Obtaining the Bachelor of Dance from Auckland University of Technology furthered her skills in Contemporary and provided wonderful performing and choreographic opportunities. It also allowed her to gain her teaching status with the RAD.

Since then she has danced in various performances, taught for a year in Canada and taught for a variety of schools in a number of different genres and capacities throughout Auckland. She has now been teaching for over 10 years and still loves every moment spent with students.

“I believe dancing is a great way to learn how to be a part of a group and work with others as well as to gain self-discipline, fitness, peace, enjoyment and confidence through expressing oneself either in private or publicly on a stage.”

Miss Tiara

Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary

Tiara has been dancing since the age of 5. She joined Great South Dance Academy at the age of 12 and carried on to complete her Advanced 1 RAD ballet exam and also was a member of the Contemporary troupe whilst at the studio. She has since graduated from Unitec with a Bachelor in Contemporary dance and Performing in Screen Arts.  She is a qualified NZAMD dance teacher.  Her passion for dance inspires her desire to teach the future generations, and we are excited to have her as part of the teaching team here at GSDA.

She completed her Advanced 1 RAD ballet exam and also has a passion for contemporary dance and has been involved in troupe.
